Piëch Automotive GT concept EV’s new design has been unveiled
With a max speed of 187 mph and a 0 to 60 in 2.6 seconds, the Piëch Automotive GT concept EV will be making its way into production and is estimated to launch in 2028. Together with former Mercedes-AMG executive Tobias Moers, Piëch’s founders Rea Stark Rajcic and Anton Piëch have ensured that this GT version is flawless.
Originally revealed in 2021, Piëch first showcased the GT as the Mark Zero at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. Its new design shares many similarities as the former, but is shaped with sharper lines and updated features including meticulously thin headlights and an elegant roofline.
Although Moers is adamant that the GT will provide great color and trim options and that no two cars will be the same, we are still in the dark about the interior design. This is possible due to how the user may customize the software by creating a custom soundtrack, adjusting the dynamic drive modes, and even creating fake vibrations.

The Piëch Automotive GT concept EV also has a completely redesigned powertrain. With the new configuration, which has two electric motors installed in the front and rear, the car will have all-wheel drive. Combining an output of more than 1,000 horsepower and 800 foot-pounds of torque, each motor can generate 503 horsepower and 406 foot-pounds of torque on its own.
A two-speed gearbox connects the motor and wheel. With the help of the Piëch Torque Controller and POSA, or performance-oriented software architecture, each power unit has its own unique torque vectoring, traction control, and variable locking ratio features. First gear ratio is 1:9, second gear ratio is 1:5. A 90-kWh battery pack will power the EV’s powertrain, giving it a 312-mile range. Although that’s a solid range, we would like to see models surpass the 500-mile mark by 2028.

Estimated to cost $200,000, the Piëch Automotive GT concept EV looks to be promising.
