The new 2023 Airstream Caravel 16RB trailer is the manufacturer’s smallest model but it packs in a ton of features and amenities that make it a great luxurious travel trailer. Just like every other Airstream trailer, the Caravel 16RB is built with unmatched quality and durability that will last for many generations.
The 2023 Airstream Caravel 16RB trailer has a number of aluminum elements that give it a sleek appearance. Cast aluminum LED taillights and numerous dimmable LED lights for the patio awning, entrance, and storage compartments complete the external design. The wheels use Goodyear Endurance tires, along with sealed Nev-R-Lube bearings and Nev-R-Adjust brakes.
While the bulk of Airstream trailers are more than 20 feet, the new Caravel 16 RB is only 16.5 feet long from end to end. It comes with 10 (yes that’s 10) large windows, built-in awnings, and only weighs 3,500 pounds.
The trailer also features a kitchenette with a sink and two-burner cooktop, a lounge area with a dinette and a bathroom with a toilet and a standing shower. The sleeping space has room for a full-size mattress, and the lounge can be converted into an additional sleeping area, allowing the trailer to accommodate four passengers.
The interior is also equipped with numerous USB ports and 110V outlets. Airstream provides an optional 100W solar package to keep the juice flowing when off the grid.
