2024 Lexus LM Electric Minivan Announced At Auto Shanghai 2023

Check out the luxurious and comfortable 2024 Lexus LM electric minivan

The 2024 Lexus LM electric minivan has been revealed by the Toyota luxury marque this week at Auto Shanghai 2023. Introduced in 2019, the LM model is a limousine-esque version of the Toyota Alphard, and now its second generation model is set to launch.

There are two all-wheel-drive hybrid powertrain options available for the 2024 Lexus LM electric minivan. The first combines an electric motor with a 2.4-liter inline-four turbocharger, while the second combines an electric motor with a 2.5-liter inline-four. The van features an adjustable suspension and 50 percent greater torsional stiffness than the previous generation LM.

On the exterior lies the largest iteration of Lexus’s spindle grille on the front facia, along with the brand’s distinctive angular headlamps. The spoiler protruding from the roof is a welcoming addition.

With two seating configurations, the LM features three rows that can seat up to eight passengers, or two rows with an enormous amount of room for four passengers. That leaves room for a whole lot of amenities, which is the focal point of the LM.

There are two comfortable reclining seats with leg rests, a fridge, and a climate control system that employs sensors to regulate cabin temperature. Also featured is the Active Noise Control system, which blocks out unpleasant noises. The 48-inch HD monitor is suitable for both video calls and movie streaming.

Unfortunately, the United States is excluded from the list of markets the 2024 Lexus LM electric minivan will reach. Lexus has not yet announced the price for the second-gen LM but we expect it to cost a pretty penny.
