The Aras Kazar Wakíŋyaŋ Trimaran Concept Is Pure Beauty

The Aras Kazar Wakíŋyaŋ trimaran concept isn’t just another “boring slow superyacht”

Innovating the industry with his fresh, cutting-edge, and futuristic boat designs, the Aras Kazar Wakíŋyaŋ trimaran concept is the most recent design by the Turkey based superyacht designer himself. Described by Kazar as a “floating bird on the water”, this concept demonstrates the distinctive design’s use of robotic style and clean lines.

Kazar specializes in “minimalist, futuristic, and sleek” designs and has a portfolio of superyacht concepts including Ono, Noy, Nave Nera, and Moto. The name for his most recent project, the Wakíŋyaŋ, is taken from the Lakota word meaning thunder.

The 427-foot Aras Kazar Wakíŋyaŋ trimaran concept is constructed with an aluminum vessel which has two tiny outrigger hulls that resemble wings along with a pointed, sharp bow and a large main hull. There are large tempered glass panels installed on the main hull, which helps flood the interior with natural sunlight and offers mariners breathtaking panoramic views.

According to Kazar, the interior features a smooth, pleasant atmosphere to promote calmness and relaxation. The multihull has five “cloudy” staterooms, one owner’s suite, and space for up to 12 passengers. There is a spacious inside spa as well as a supersized pool on the rear deck that is surrounded by sun loungers.

“The interior design follows the soft, gentle, cloudy feeling of the exterior,” stated Kazar. “Wakinyan is designed to make you feel calm and relaxing whether you are enjoying it from inside or just looking at it from outside.”

The Aras Kazar Wakíŋyaŋ trimaran concept is “not one of those boring slow superyachts”, as claimed by the designer. The yacht’s all-electric propulsion system and hydrofoil technology would allow it to travel at a top speed of 32 knots.
