Travel Light And Eco-Friendly With The Bowlus Heritage Edition Electric Trailer

Prices for the Bowlus Heritage Edition electric trailer start at $189,000

Built with the same dimensions as the rest of the Bowlus lineup, the Heritage Edition electric trailer is the newest addition to the luxury RV family. The Heritage Edition is based on the company’s first model ever created back in 1934 by founder Hawley Bowlus and loaded with modern day features and amenities.

It sits at just a bit over 27 feet long and 80 inches wide, with a height of 8 feet 6 inches and allowing 6 feet 4 inches of headroom. The Bowlus Heritage Edition electric trailer is the lightest in its lineup, weighing at only 2,900 pounds with a gross vehicle weight rating of 3,500 pounds, allowing it to be towed by numerous vehicles.

The exterior of the Heritage Edition has a distinctive satin silver finish that Bowlus refers to as mill finish, and resembles the original Bowlus from the 1930s. The mill-finish can also be wrapped in matte black or satin gray, a welcomed option newly introduced by the California-based company.

The interior of the trailer is a touch more streamlined when compared to the other models, including all of the amenities you could possibly need when you’re out and about. The full-size trailer accommodates four adults and comfortably sleeps two in the main cabin’s king-sized bed and two in the dining area’s convertible couches.

There’s also a fully equipped galley with a fridge, two-burner cooktop, microwave, and storage space. The bathroom includes a sink, toilet, and a dedicated shower with a seat.

Power Packages II comes with a 6-kWh battery, 3,000-watt inverter, a touchscreen information panel, and eight hours of AC.

Bowlus claims the Heritage Edition’s power system will allow passengers to live completely off the grid for around 10 days. With a starting price of $189,000, it’s currently available to order on the Bowlus website.
