When Elon Musk unveiled his eye popping futuristic electric Cybertruck, he also showed a video of it winning a tug-of-war against a Ford F150. The video showed the F150 being dragged backwards, up hill by the Cybertruck while the F150 wheels were spinning, clearing showing the Cybertruck as the definite winner.

A writer from the Motor1 car blog, pointed out a few things about Elon’s tug-a-war which caught the attention of the media and eye of Sundeep Madra, a Ford vice president in charge of Ford X, a technology incubator within Ford and the Tesla Cybertruck vs Ford F150 tug-of-war challenge was born; or was it?
hey @elonmusk send us a cybertruck and we will do the apples to apples test for you 😉😉😉https://t.co/H3v6dCZeV5

The Motor1 car blogger touched on a few prominent point about the video:
- The Ford F150 that the Cybertruck was pulling was rear-wheel drive truck making it an unevenly matched fight because, being an all-wheel drive, the Cybertruck had an advantage as it could pull with all four of its wheels
- Based on that particular F150 features from the video, the truck was probably equipped with a gas powered turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 engine, far from the strongest engine to be had in an F-Series truck
- The weight of the Cybertruck also added to its advantage and because of its heavy battery packs, in a towing battle like this, weight confers advantages giving the Cybertruck itself better traction on the road
We’ll when you call Elon Musk out, he always accepts the challenge as he did with his Tweet response below!
