At $6,999, the Delfast TOP 3.0i electric bike’s 200-mile range is worth every penny
Ukraine-based Delfast Inc., a leading international e-bike manufacturer, have announced the updated Delfast TOP 3.0i electric bike that’s better, faster, stronger, and smarter than ever. With the addition of a new onboard computer that collects and analyzes data to deliver information such as diagnostics, battery charge, and over-the-air updates, the TOP 3.0i is a Class 2 e-bike that increases the range and power of the company’s award-winning TOP 3.0 model.
The onboard computer of the Delfast TOP 3.0i electric bike synchronizes every component of the e-bike in a cohesive manner. It regulates and keeps track of the current state and functionality of the bike’s components, sending real-time updates to the Delfast server (when online). The onboard computer can identify a bug and report it immediately to Delfast, allowing tech support to handle any possible problems right away. Additionally, the onboard computer has an integrated GPS tracking module that gathers all the data from the bike rider.
Similar to other Delfast two-wheelers, the TOP 3.0i is heavy sitting at 154 pounds. This model has two driving modes: Class 2 with a limited 750W motor and a top speed of 20 mph, and Unlimited with 3000W of maximum rear-hub power with a top speed of 50 mph. In ideal conditions, the TOP 3.0i offers the most range out of all e-bikes, with 200 miles on a single charge.
“TOP 3.0i is more than an e-bike. It’s a smart device,” said Delfast founder and CEO, Daniel Tonkopi. “Our new onboard computer is the brain of the bicycle. The ‘i’ in 3.0i stands for intelligence, providing riders with information that results in a safer, smarter and more enjoyable ride.”
The Delfast TOP 3.0i electric bike is now available and comes in black or white colorways. Orders will start shipping this month and have a retail price of $6,999. For more information, visit the Delfast website here.
