Are You Ready For The 2,200 HP Deus Vayanne Electric Hypercar?

The $2 million Deus Vayanne electric hypercar will be limited to 99 units

Slated for a 2025 release, the Deus Vayanne electric hypercar has been unveiled with an absurd 2,200 horsepower and 1,475 pound-feet of torque. Even more absurd? Well its expected sticker price of $2,000,000 is absolutely wild.

The brand new Deus Vayanne electric hypercar graced the recent New York Auto Show with its global debut, and the Austrian startup states the car will go from zero to 60 mph in less than two seconds with a top speed of 248 mph. The number and orientation of the electric motors were not specified but Deus did say that the Vayanne will be equipped with an 85 kWh battery that will give a range of about 300 miles. According to the company, those figures are also based on “computer-simulated performance, not validated.”

Deus labels the Vayanne as a “production-oriented concept” that’s being developed in collaboration with Italdesign, a design firm founded by Giorgetto Giugiaro, and Williams Advanced Engineering, a spinoff of the Formula 1 team. Williams Advanced Engineering reportedly produced the lightweight rolling chassis, while Italdesign’s engineering and stylistic skills were used to create the bodywork.

An outstanding feature is that out of the 99 units in production, no two Vayannes will be alike, according to Adrian-Filip Butaca, the Director of Design at Deus Automobiles. “If you order one particular configuration, the customer after you will not be able to get the same combination of color, trim, and optional equipment,” said Butaca. “The color code will be locked to you.”

That would make each Deus Vayanne electric hypercar unique, as if the exterior wasn’t already neck breaking. The Austrian marque states the shape of the Vayanne is based on symmetry and infinity. Hence the “infinite loop” shape of the front and rear’s grille. Within its interior is natural sustainable leather and a digital instrument cluster with a “Halo Infinity Mirror”.

The next time we’ll see the Vayanne in the United States is this upcoming August at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
