The Lyric Cycles Voodoo eBike Is An Electrified Classic Café Racer

Lyric Cycles Voodoo eBike unveiled

Inspired by bikes from 1960s England, the Lyric Cycles Voodoo eBike is an eco-friendly, aesthetically pleasing electric bike that can hit a top speed of 65 mph. There really isn’t much more we would want out of this bike besides an earlier release date.

The Canadian outfit has built the Lyric Cycles Voodoo eBike with a trellis frame that’s supported by a motorcycle-style telescopic fork. There’s also a hooped sub-frame, a mono-shock rear, and features a retro faux tank cover, a scrambler-styled flat seat, and a circular LED headlight.

With a 3,000-watt rear-hub motor that generates 18,000 peak watts and a maximum output of 24 horsepower, this bike definitely packs a punch. Just in case, there’s an ASI BAC 4000 controller that’s compact, powerful, and fast and delivers smooth performance as the rider accelerates and brakes.

Enormous braking power is provided by the front and rear motorcycle hydraulic disc brakes as well as the supplementary regenerative brakes. The variable regenerative brakes not only provide the batteries a 10% charge back, but they also significantly reduce the cost of brake pads.

A comprehensive list of other features include a color instrument cluster, a USB charging outlet, and street legal necessities such as DOT-approved LED indicators, a horn, and mirrors. Optional foot pegs may be purchased separately to replace the standard pedals.

The Lyric Cycles Voodoo eBike will cost $6,999 for the standard edition and $7,499 for the 305 Ghost edition. Pre-orders are already underway for $100 on their website with deliveries expected to start next year in the spring of 2023.
