Plans announced for the Nikola Badger electric truck

Nikloa Corporation, the battery and hydrogen-powered truck company announced plans to build an electric pickup, currently named as the Nikola Badger Electric Truck. The production is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2021, however, no price has been announced yet and Nikola will begin accepting “limited reservations” in 2020.

Positioning its self as a rival to Tesla, the Nikola Badger will have a 300 mile range with its battery-only option or a 600 mile range with its battery and hydrogen fuel tank option. With a reported peak 906 horsepower, 455 continuous horsepower and 980 foot pounds of torque, the Badger electric truck will hit 0-60 MPH in 2.9 seconds; that’s well in the super car power territory. It will have a towing capacity of 8,000 lbs and a 4×4 independent wheel drive system for some awesome handling.
