Founded in 2009, Rivian has received backing from companies such as Ford and Amazon to bring its vision to life. As of right now, they will be the first all-electric trucks to hit the market. While a few competitors are slated to be in production sometime in 2020 or 2021, Rivian has been the first to set a hard release date of December 2020.
