The Verge Motorcycles Mika Häkkinen Signature Edition is limited to 100 units
The Verge Motorcycles Mika Häkkinen Signature Edition electric motorcycle is a collaboration between two-time Finnish Formula One champion Mika Häkkinen and Finnish electric motorbike maker Verge Motorcycles. Earlier this month, Verge officially launched the new motorcycle following Häkkinen ‘s addition to the Verge Advisory Board.
“I know from experience what it takes to develop a vehicle that embodies speed, precision and elegance,” said Häkkinen in a statement. “I wanted to design the bike right down to the smallest detail rather than just picking the color. Each bike is numbered and features an exclusive signature. This electric superbike represents the future of riding and is a testament to a life lived to the fullest.”
Based on Verge’s TS Pro platform, only 100 units of the Verge Motorcycles Mika Häkkinen Signature Edition will be in production. It features carbon fiber fairings and ceramic surface coating, and comes in a black, silver, and dark gray colorway. The bikes include the Häkkinen’s autograph on a distinctive plaque and are also numbered.
TS Pro platform produces approximately 136.8 horsepower and 737.5 pound-feet of torque. It zips from 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds and holds 350 miles of range on a single charge. The seat sits at a height of 30.7 inches. The wheelbase measures 60.6 inches, while curb weight is about 540 pounds.
The front brakes on the Verge Motorcycles Mika Häkkinen Signature Edition are a pair of Brembo M4.32 four-piston calipers with two 230mm Galfer discs, while the rear brakes are a single Verge-branded four-piston rear caliper with a 380mm Galfer peripheral disc.
Häkkinen’s Signature Edition can be purchased through the Verge Motorcycles online store within the Estonia, Finland, Germany, Italy, Monaco, and Spain regions at a price of $86,949.
