The Verge TS Ultra Electric Motorcycle Can Hit Sixty In Just 2.5 Seconds

Hold onto your hats, the Verge TS Ultra electric motorcycle is blazingly fast

Previously only available in Europe, the Verge TS Ultra electric motorcycle has opened its reservations for the US market following its showcase at this year’s CES 2023. With 25-minute charging, a 2.5-second 0 to 60, and a hefty price tag, there’s no question the TS Ultra is one of the most powerful two-wheelers we’ve come across.

A new powertrain featured on the Verge TS Ultra electric motorcycle increases its hubless rear wheel motor to 201 horsepower, an improvement over the TS Pro’s 137 horsepower and almost doubling the previous TS’s 107 horsepower. The hubless rear wheel motor allows for an increase in torque, pulling an astounding 885 ft-lb.

Limited to a top speed of 124 mph, the TS Ultra has more than enough speed to get you from point A to point B in a jiffy. Since there aren’t any gears to shift, its single-speed drivetrain results in a zero-to-sixty in two and a half seconds, and is a step above its competition in the high-performance electric motorcycle market. What a monster.

Verge claims that when connected to a DC fast charger, the TS Ultra will charge to 80% capacity in just 25 minutes. The standard TS model needs 55 minutes to complete the same task, while the TS Pro requires 35 minutes. All models will come with a tablet-like display on the tank in front of the rider.

The flagship Verge TS Ultra electric motorcycle is scheduled to arrive in Q4 this year at a price of $44,900. Preorders are now open on the Verge website and the TS Ultra is currently limited to selected states, depending on local EV sales and import regulations.
