The battery-powered Caterham Project V EV has been revealed by the U.K.-based marque. The company has only ever built one vehicle in their 50 years of existence, and that’s the model Seven. The Project V coupe will surely be a game charger once it goes into production.

With a curb weight of 2623 pounds, the Caterham Project V EV utilizes a carbon fiber monocoque with aluminum frame extensions on both ends. A 55-kWh lithium-ion battery pack coupled to a single 268-hp engine positioned at the back axle powers the vehicle.

There are all-around disc brakes, staggered 19 and 20-inch rims with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, electrically assisted power steering, and double-wishbone suspension with completely adjustable geometry on the front and back. The car’s three drive modes (Normal, Sport, and Sprint) manage steering and acceleration in response to external factors.
