A brand new electrified sedan is just around the corner in the Infiniti Vision Qe EV sedan that was just recently unveiled by the Japanese automaker. Becoming the marque’s first EV, the sporty sedan can go into production as early as 2025.

Infiniti confirmed that its debut EV will be a four-door car. The Infiniti Vision Qe EV sedan’s design is unlike anything in the existing Infiniti portfolio, and it could alter perceptions of the brand both domestically and internationally. The car incorporates elements that Infiniti may use to differentiate its electric cars, such as a grille that extends down into the front fascia and light bars that run the width of the car from the front to the back.

It also sports the most recent iteration of Infiniti’s Artistry in Motion design language. The lightbars flash a sequence to greet the driver as they approach, showcasing a pattern that Infiniti calls “digital piano key” lighting. Three distinct Japanese philosophies served as inspiration for the car’s daring appearance, which aims to emanate speed and dynamism (Sho), communicate sophistication (Sui), and display a sense that’s out of the ordinary (Kabuku).
