The FDC Yachts Aluna 127 Has A Versatile Aft Deck

Yes, there’s even a helipad on the FDC Yachts Aluna 127

The second model from Turkish yard FDC Yachts comes in the new 127-foot FDC Yachts Aluna 127 co-developed with Red Yacht Design. The yacht can serve as both a support vessel or an expedition yacht. Additionally, she features a versatile aft deck that may be used for a variety of water sports.

The FDC Yachts Aluna 127 has a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, with FDC Yachts handling the hull and detail engineering. Red Yacht Design worked on the interior and exterior design. Sharing similarities to the Aluna 87, the 127 does have a unique feature that makes it stand out from her sister. The forward-located superyacht allows 12 accommodated passengers to enjoy its spacious aft deck.

The aft may be used to store tenders or equipped with sun cushions and a canopy for outside parties. A swim platform and beach club with fold-out platforms and a ladder for quick and easy access to the sea are located a few steps lower in the stern.

An owner’s suite is located at the bow of the upper deck, which includes a large terrace and both his and her bathrooms. The eight crew quarters and the remaining guest staterooms are located on the lower deck. There’s even enough space on the main deck to carry a 12-meter tender and be able to land a four-person touch-and-go heli.

The FDC Yachts Aluna 127 has the option to utilize either a hybrid propulsion system or a standard one. Either way, it’s been designed for optimal fuel consumption with twin Caterpillar C18 Acert engines. FDC claims she will reach a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots.

It will take 20 months to build the 127, which is scheduled to launch in summer 2025.
