Let’s Revisit The Tesla Model Y Superyacht Concept

Dhruv Prasad’s Tesla Model Y superyacht concept looks like the real deal

Teased back in 2017, the $700 million Tesla Model Y superyacht concept designed by Dhruv Prasad broke the internet. Now five years later, we’re crossing our fingers that this dream may become a reality.

Although Tesla CEO Elon Musk reportedly was not part of this project, Prasad’s renders look stunning with many hoping that the EV giant can make the Tesla Model Y superyacht concept come to fruition. The yacht will be completely electric, allowing it to cruise silently. Additionally, hydroelectric and solar power will be utilized.

The superyacht’s electric powertrain and self-sustaining qualities are what really make it unique amongst its competitors. There’ll be a solar panel that charges two lithium batteries at the top of the yacht. A crimson object bearing the Tesla symbol can be seen in the middle. This is the turbine that functions by converting the energy of ocean waves into electricity, which charges a battery system.

Measured at 40 meters (131 feet), the Model Y superyacht is designed with a sharp hull and a massive interior that comes with two decks, two bedrooms, and a spa built in. With an easy touch of a button, the modular tables found on the lower deck can be transformed into seats. A circular bar and a dance floor will be on the upper deck, which will be covered by a huge roof that glows at night using hundreds of LED lights.

The Bangalore designer has shown both elegance and comfort in his futuristic renderings of the Tesla Model Y superyacht concept. We hope the idea can surface into the hands of Elon Musk. Please, make this happen!
