The Rossinavi No Stress hybrid superyacht utilizes AI to track energy use
The 164-foot-meter Rossinavi No Stress hybrid superyacht has been launched by Rossinavi at the Viareggio shipyard. It’s become the first Rossinavi yacht to have an AI-equipped hybrid propulsion system and is the result of the shipyard’s eighth partnership with Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design.
The Rossinavi No Stress hybrid superyacht’s fast-displacement hull form suits her slim profile, and the automotive industry served as an inspiration for her overall look. In order to fulfill the owner’s request for a roomy interior that connects the inside with the exterior environment, openings on the hull and superstructure as well as the utilization of floor-to-ceiling windows were used.
Utilizing a dual power system, the all-aluminum No Stress uses two MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesel engines as well as two electric motors that are powered by the battery pack and generators. The dual power system allows for five operating modes. When the system is in electric mode, an AI controls it and keeps track of how much energy is being used.
“We are very proud to launch our very first BluE project,” stated Federico Rossi, Chief Operating Officer of Rossinavi. “No Stress is a hybrid vessel characterized by a strong sporty attitude. It is a high-performance super yacht with dual fuel: diesel and battery. Artificial Intelligence allows you to enjoy the electric experience on board to the fullest. This is only the beginning, as this technology will be optimized next year, revealing its fullest expression with the launch of the Sea Cat.”
As for the interior, Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design has not provided much to see but has stated that it is “minimal but with accurate architectural details.”
