The 33M Sunreef Yachts Explorer Eco electric catamaran is here
The brand-new 33M Sunreef Yachts Explorer Eco is a battery-powered, fully autonomous catamaran built with a combination of aluminum and cutting-edge composites. Easily cruising the most polar regions of the sea, it can even produce its own electricity.
The Sunreef Yachts Explorer Eco electric catamaran is built with two 400 kW electric motors, two 300 kW range extenders, and a 990 kWh battery pack. The hulls, superstructure, bimini roof, and full-beam bow terrace all have solar panels integrated into them. Up to 50 kWp of solar energy may be produced by this photovoltaic system, which can subsequently be utilized to power the hotel’s loads or propulsion system.
Along with cutting-edge watermakers, water-saving faucets, a rainwater collection system, and an effective heat-recovering boiler, the cat has additional energy-saving air conditioning and sophisticated energy management technologies. A variety of recycled and recyclable materials and fabrics are used in the custom-made decor elements for the guest areas.
The spacious, well-lit interiors of the Explorer Eco electric catamaran can be customized to fit any lifestyle. An indoor movie theater, spa, library, and gym are examples of important onboard amenities that provide customers a variety of possibilities.
Direct access to the water is provided by the Explorer Eco, which also has room for storage for dive compressors, sea bobs, e-bikes, e-foils, sailing dinghies, and tenders. This area links to the yacht’s full-beam aft cockpit and offers a spa pool with expansive ocean views in addition to many opportunities for sunbathing.
The announcement of the Sunreef Yachts Explorer Eco comes after the successful launch of the first 80 Sunreef Power Eco catamaran in Gdansk.
