The Sunreef Yachts hybrid catamarans will feature “the ultimate hull shape”
A brand new line of Sunreef Yachts hybrid catamarans have been revealed by the Polish yard, donning the name “Ultima”. These performance based yachts are fully customizable and its designs are to “blend comfort, performance, and lifestyle” in order to meet market demands.
The high performance Sunreef Yachts hybrid catamarans will offer their owners an option to customize their own “lifestyle platform” and are available in the 45 Ultima and 55 Ultima models. It’s expected that the 45 and 55 correspond to their respective foot lengths, which equal to 13.7 and 16.7 meters.
“To achieve ULTIMA, we combined the best of the multihull and monohull design philosophy,” said Sunreef’s founder and president, Francis Lapp. “This concept is all about fast cruises, vast living space and energy efficiency.”
Created to be versatile and adaptable, the cats feature a sizable semi-open deck, lounging sections, and storage for fishing, diving, and water toys. An inverted windshield is a hallmark of its design. The bulwarks extend towards the stern to make the swim platform even larger.
The living area, which includes the kitchen, dining room, and steering position, is located on the main deck. The hulls are set aside for sleeping quarters below deck. There are two double cabins with individual bathrooms in the smaller 45 Ultima. The arrangement of the 55 Ultima may fit up to four cabins. Both cats will utilize the built-in solar panels located on the roof.
“We now have the ultimate hull shape for all those who are looking to enjoy quick getaways in speed, comfort and style,” Lapp added.
As of now, 10 Sunreef Yachts hybrid catamarans have been ordered while the yard is getting ready to unveil two larger models within the same line.
