The Zero Motorcycles FXE Electric Motorcycle Receives A 2023 Update

A cosmetic makeover for the Zero Motorcycles FXE electric motorcycle

Although the Zero Motorcycles FXE electric motorcycle had already debuted last year in silver, the all-new 2023 model will come in a sleek and sophisticated gloss black finish with red accents. A cosmetic update might not seem significant, yet it fundamentally alters the personality of the FXE.

While the Zero Motorcycles FXE electric motorcycle retains its athletic appearance, it now looks more upscaled. Also retained is its battery-powered all-electric powertrain that produces 46 horsepower and 78 pound-foot of torque with a max speed of 85 mph.

Weighing at only 298 pounds, this electric commuter utilizes a 7.2 kWh Z-Force Lithium-ion battery that has a mileage of up to 100 for the city and 60 for the highway. The combined 75 miles of travel range should be more than adequate for our daily commute. Personally, we believe it functions best as an urban commuter bike with compatibility for the highway. 9.2 hours will be required to fully charge the FXE using a 110V or 220V outlet.

Zero Motorcycles’ Cypher II operating system will run the touchscreen TFT display on the sport-style handlebars. Other features include Bosch Gen 9 ABS brakes, Showa front and rear suspension, and Pirelli Diablo Ross II tires. The FXE surely is quick and enjoyable without being overdone or extravagant, and it should suffice all needs for a work commute and some additional fun on the weekends.

The 2023 model of the Zero Motorcycles FXE electric motorcycle is priced at $12,995 and is now available through Zero’s retailers. Check out the Zero Motorcycles website to find the dealer nearest you.
